Family Photo | Destination, Vacation | Turtle Bay Beach, Northshore, Hawaii

Harrison family visited in Hawaii from Canada for their friends Dayla and Joe’s Wedding that I also had the opportunity to photograph (Check Dayla & Joe’s wedding HERE). We chose the location at Turtle Bay in Northshore, Oahu in the early morning. They are a family of four with two beautiful kids. The two years old daughter seemed to be really happy playing with the warm tropical water on November. During a family portrait session, I think it is necessary to have some kind of formal family photos like everyone is looking at the camera directly, but especially for smaller kids, natural happy candid moments tend to be the best photo like the very first picture on the blog because it shows their real expression! There was a short shower rain, so we escaped under the trees for a while. Then, I realized the ocean reflection in baby’s blue eyes, and he was happy in the shade, so we also got many great photos of him and family photos with cool tropical plants. Thanks to shower rain! Thank you especially Suzanne and Brock (mom and dad) for giving me an opportunity to be your photographer and singing songs with kids to make them happy throughout the session. I cannot wait to see these pictures framed on your wall…:)
