Classic, Simple | Oahu, Hawaii | Temple Wedding Photo

Yuna and Taewoo’s wedding was simple and beautiful. People tend to worry and focus on the many little details of the day, such as decorations or the days agenda. But its good to remember that the most important thing is to enjoy the moment, and reason, of the day itself. And I think this couple did a great job of doing that. They chose to have their reception at the back of the Laie Hawaii Temple. Before it started, I went up to the top of the hill to have a look around of the place. I was so impressed with the beauty all around me there; the interesting shaped of trees, bread fruit, coconut tree, magnificent mountain, blue beaches, and Laie country city view. Such a beautiful location to celebrate their big day. No fancy decorations were needed for this perfect location.
So many of their friends attended to celebrate this special moment of their life. Of course their families were there as well. Regardless of the differences of culture, they decided to start a new life together. Yuna is Japanese and Taewoo is Korean. They have different languages and cultures but Japanese and Korean are actually very much alike. Not only in appearance but in the way they show respect for each other. It was nice to see that while their parents tried to communicate with each other they would often bow to show respect. It is so interesting that so many times without words people can still connect and communicate through facial expressions, smiling, and gestures. They told me that they have not decided where there are going after they finish college, but I am pretty sure whenever they go, as long as they are together, they will be very happy. I wish them the best of luck in your future together.
