I am so excited to share this blog post to all of you. This is my first time doing a style shoot collaborating with a most talented make-up artist, Pieper Chun. Obviously I am not a person who always do makeup or wear a stylish dress like how she does every single day. In spite of diffent careers we have, when I had a chance to talk to her for the first time, I was so inspired how she is passionate about making a woman feel beautiful with her talent.

At that time, I just got a comission based photography job as I wished. Nevertheless as soon as I started working, I realized my passion toward photography was decreasing. I was exhausted every day and hated what I was doing at work. I did not understand what was happening to me first, but I came to know that creating art is the most important part of my photography. Luckily, I am not working there anymore but spend more time creating art every day. That’s the reason why we decided to do this project together because we are both artists love to create.

An idea of this shoot is inspired by Sue Bryce, a glamor portrait photographer. I love her style and how she make women feel beautiful in themselves with natural window light. We stylized the shoot together. Piper did makeup by herself, all the jewelries and a dress are from her own closet, and she was also a model for this shoot. I am so happy to have a such friend like her. Thank you Pie for making it possible. I hope we can do this more often!
