Laie Hawaii Temple Wedding + Reception in Cottage
I’ve dreamed about all sorts of perfect places for weddings and receptions since I was a little. Mostly I get my ideas and inspiration from magazines, Pinterest, and other photographers’ blog. On my dream location list there has always been a wedding cottage. I didn’t get a chance to have a reception in a wedding cottage for my wedding, so as a photographer, I was wishing that SOME DAY I would like to at least photograph a wedding in a wedding cottage . I would never guessed that my dream came true so fast and in a place just near where I live, Haula.
It was like a dream: Centerpieces, table setting, table cloth, chairs, lanterns, fire stand, and this magnificent view in the background. I could not believe that I was in such a perfect location as a photographer.
Thanks to this beautiful couple, Marisa and Bradley, and their families, I had a great time and felt special. The entire wedding their family joked with each other and made people laugh. Especially during the hula lesson (unique hawaiian style program) where continual laughter was heard from that family.
After lots of fun programs, it was time for the first dance. The mood shifted all at once, and even I had to hold back my tears when I saw the bride and her father dance together. She is the first daughter to get married in her family. It was such a beautiful moment for a daughter and a father.
I am pretty sure both of you will make a fun and happy family, bonded strongly, like your family, in future. Wishing the best for you two:)
